Five models based on TV depth and theater performance.

We’ve designed an LCR bar option for every TV. Choose the ultra-thin 1-1/2″ deep (38 mm) MiniBar for super-thin TV’s. Use the Thin Bar (2-1/2″ deep, 64 mm) for larger sets. We also offer the high performance LCR Bar and TCX Bars, both 5″ (127 mm) deep, with our acclaimed 4″ bass unit. For full theater performance, we offer a PTM Bar, with our PTM/One speakers arranged horizontally in a bar built to the length of your TV or screen.

Vocal Integrity design.

All Bay Audio center channel speakers use our Vocal Integrity design and midrange-tweeter-midrange array for enhanced dialog clarity. Frequencies from 12,000 to 17,000 represent the consonance range, where spoken consonants reside. By enhancing the energy in this range, we greatly improve dialog intelligibility, up to 20 feet from the speaker.

On-screen spoken dialog will be clean, articulate, and effortless to understand, making your TV viewing experience that much more pleasurable.

Three isolated channels.

Each channel in a Bay Audio LCR bar is internally isolated to eliminate annoying crosstalk. Other companies allow the separate channels to share an internal airspace smearing the sound between channels. Even our MiniBar has isolated channels for best performance. Standard bars have three channels (left, center, right). Of course, we can build one or two channel versions of each bar.

Custom-built to your specifications.

We hand-build each LCR bar to the exact width (or height) of your television. Our cabinet shop holds tolerances to less than 1/32″, so your Bay Audio bar will mount flush to the set. Bars are built with high density MDF. Soft Focus fabric grilles are included.

MiniBar: 1-1/2″ deep.

Use the MiniBar when depth is at a premium. It’s the thinnest custom-made bar available. We use dual 2″ midrange drivers plus a tweeter per channel. Dispersion is smooth, so all listeners in the room can hear the on-screen dialog.

The MiniBar requires a subwoofer for full-range performance. Choose a TC10 subwoofer, or the in-wall JMSub for a perfect match. Mount the MiniBar directly to the wall using the speaker’s thru-holes. The MiniBar is compatible with Chief Fusion series brackets.

Thin Bar: 2-1/2″ deep.

We use our impressive 3″ midrange in the Thin Bar. each channel gets two midranges, plus a Bay Audio tweeter. We recommend using a subwoofer with the Thin Bar for full-range performance. We include a universal mounting bracket for horizontal or vertical placement.

LCR Bar and TCX Bar: 5″ deep.

Our LCR Bar is our original TV speaker. Using our impressive 4″ midrange, the LCR Bar is a full-range solution. A subwoofer is recommended for full-theater performance. The TCX speaker uses the TCX40 driver set for more impressive lows, broader dispersion, and higher power handling. Both speakers ship with our universal mounting bracket.

PTM Bar: 7″ deep.

When you need the performance of a PTM/One system, choose the PTM Bar. We use the driver set from our PTM/One speaker, and build this cabinet to the same specifications as a PTM/One, with 3/4″ MDF throughout, extensive internal bracing, and a black painted ash veneer finish.

We’ll build a PTM Bar to fit any sized TV or screen. No mounting brackets included.
