These two models are self-enclosed systems that install easily into ceilings. Both use our radially ported 3″ driver for impressive response and coverage. Be sure to use an in-room subwoofer (like the JMSub) for full extension, as these speakers are bandwidth limited. The 535mp has a round grille, the 530mp is square.

Built to the same standard as all Bay Audio in-wall speakers, 400 Series let you maintain a high performance level in the home while accommodating budget constraints.

There are four models in the line.

We have three in-ceiling speakers — the 465, 466 stereo, and 485. All feature the smooth Bay Audio sound we’re famous for. Unlike other “entry level” speakers, we don’t skimp on performance. With high power-handling tweeters, poly cones with butyl surrounds, even 20 watt resistors — features just not found at these price points.

Use 400 Series speakers in secondary rooms and hallways. They are easy to drive, with high efficiency and 8 ohm nominal impedances.
