We configured PTM speakers to be trusted tools in your home theater design. With exceedingly low THD in their operating range, flat frequency response, high power handling, and linear excursion, PTM speakers are ready for in-theater equalization and tuning.
PTM/One cabinet and in-wall speaker.
The workhorse of the PTM line, the PTM/One is an affordable entry into high-performance theater. We designed this speaker with a remarkable 2% THD throughout its operating range.
We achieve this performance through good engineering, and an attention to build quality. The PTM/One cabinet speaker uses a 1″ MDF cabinet, veneered inside and out for stability in environments with changing humidity and temperature levels. Extensive internal bracing quells unwanted stray midrange frequencies for clear, articulate sound.
The Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange array reduces floor and ceiling bounce, and the smearing it produces. We use our proprietary 6-1/2″ bass unit and a bullet phase-plug chambered tweeter for fast, impactful performance.
A true theater satellite, the PTM/One extends low enough to be crossed over at 70 Hz, keeping the crossover point far away from the critical midrange. With output to 120 dB with 400 watts of clean power, the PTM/One fills a large home theater with clean, articulate sound.
The PTM/One is available in an in-wall configuration, with an extruded aluminum frame, 1″ MDF baffle, and floating grilles.
PTM/Two high-performance cabinet and in-wall speaker.
For improved sonic performance, choose the PTM/Two. With upgraded drivers mounted into a time-aligned baffle for even smoother high frequency performance. Optional Corian baffles look great and improve cabinet rigidity.
The PTM/Two in-wall uses an extruded aluminum frame, 1″ MDF baffle, and floating grilles.
12″ Impact Sub.
We design our theaters with two types of subwoofers: impact subs for fast transients like kicks and gunshots, and rumble subs for deep bass effects like thunder and explosions.
Our 12″ Impact Sub handles frequencies from 30 to 80 Hz. We designed this sub for speed, with a fully braced 1″ MDF cabinet, high output 12″ driver with a spun aluminum cone, and an optional 1000 watt amplifier.
15″ Rumble Sub.
For deep extension, we use a rumble sub. Responsible for frequencies from 17 to 30 Hz, the rumble sub pressurizes the room so deep sound effects are exciting and visceral. Built with a fully braced 1″ MDF cabinet and a high-output 15″ driver. The sub requires an optional 1000 watt amplifier.

We often custom size PTM subwoofers to fit your room, building our Impact and Rumble subs to fit in cabinetry, into columns, under screens, and behind furniture. We will also custom size and finish PTM/One and PTM/Two cabinet speakers to match your decor.
