It’s not merely about surround sound. When you combine five-plus channels of distributed audio simultaneously, bright spots, distortion and dead zones are incredibly difficult to avoid. Doing so requires more than just putting great speakers in each corner of the room; it takes precise control of frequency, timing and dispersion. It’s also why our engineers will design custom configurations taking into account the size and shape of your particular viewing space, with on-site tuning to ensure optimal speaker settings as well as placement. After we’ve put so much care into producing such a balanced and powerful system, we want to make sure it’s applied to perfection.

The largest of our home theater speakers, the PTM/Three accommodates full size home theaters, delivering amazing clarity with enviable power over a great area.

 

The truest test of any theater is its ability to reproduce dialog, especially the subtle notes that give life to a great performance. Like all of our home theater speakers, the PTM/Three particularly excels in the 135 to 2,500 Hz range, where the bulk of dialog resides. Any distortion within these frequencies could ruin viewing enjoyment.

 

With this in mind, we've given the PTM/Three a pair of 8-inch drivers for volume, and a time-aligned Corian baffle for unmatched rigidity with precise dispersion, rendering an unheard-of 1% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD).

 

 

The PTM/Two Home Theater delivers every nuance
the filmmaker hopes you will hear.

 

For most home theater installations, the PTM/Two offers the best high performance solution, delivering incredibly clean sound at a great volume, without overpowering
a moderately sized room.

 

Dialog will come through as clearly as music and sound effects; each blending together as smoothly as the film's sound designer intended.

 

A time aligned pair of our best 6½-inch drivers work in league with a chambered 1-inch tweeter to project distinct tones delivered perfectly in phase, with a scant 1.5% THD. An optional corian baffle increases precision when only the best will do.

 

A PTM/One Home Theater offers Vocal Integrity™

for a dynamic moviegoing experience at home.

 

Thanks to the talents of our engineering team, our PTM/One speakers only produce a ridiculously low 2% THD! We accomplished this with extensive internal bracing of cabinets. They're also veneered inside and out for additional, long term stability.

 

We've tuned the 6½-inch drivers to be particularly responsive to those frequencies where consonants reside.  Hearing consonants is key to understanding speech, so enhancing them is fundamental to maintaining a smooth, articulate reproduction of dialog we like to call Vocal Integrity™.

 

 

 

PTM/Two and PTM/One In-Wall speakers put our theater quality performance behind screens and into any other tight fits.

 

The PTM/One In-Wall (on the left) features the same driver set as our standard
PTM/One cabinet speaker, but in an extruded aluminum frame ready for architectural placement. It makes a great option within a distributed home system.

 

The PTM/Two In-Wall, right, utilizes a similar extruded aluminum frame design, but with the upgrade of our PTM/Two components. It's our most powerful in-wall speaker, and one of the best architectural speakers you'll ever hear.

 

 

A custom-built PTM Sound Bar configuration allows greater control over your home theater design.

 

We can configure a sound bar to meet your spatial or aesthetic considerations. It will feature the same high potency and low THD as our PTM cabinets; it will just happen to mount horizontally.

 

Whether you want it built exclusively as a center channel to take advantage of our Vocal Integrity™ design, or wish to add left and right channels to a single, really long bar, we will work with your integrator to find the best solution.
