Home Theater Subwoofers

Home theater bass requires two subs: one you feel in your chest, and one you feel in your gut.

 

To get the most out of a movie-watching experience, we design our theaters with two types of subwoofers: impact subs for fast transients like kicks and gunshots, and rumble subs for deep effects like thunder and explosions. Each of these subs feature a fully braced 1-inch MDF cabinet and an optional 1000w amplifier.

 

12″ Impact Sub

A 12-inch driver with a spun aluminum cone delivers bass from 30 to 80 Hz. We designed this sub for speed, so your bass will have plenty of thump.

 

15″ Rumble Sub

For deep extension, we use a high-output 15-inch driver to handle frequencies from
17 to 30 Hz, pressurizing the room so deep sound effects are exciting and visceral.

 

18″ Rumble Sub

For larger spaces, we opt for an 18-inch driver that reaches as low as 14 Hz, ensuring rumbling effects can be felt as well as heard.
